There are a number of ways in which you can become involved with the Women’s Centre.
Volunteer
The NLWC is a dynamic organisation due to the different skills and backgrounds of the women involved. As a volunteer you may want to donate one hour a month to run a workshop on sewing, Indian Head Massage, computers or community development.
Our structures include working groups which come up with ideas for fund raising and new courses. We welcome new volunteers to help us to provide for women’s needs.
Please do get in touch with us to discuss the different options. You can be assured that we will work with you and your timetable.
CD, DVD and Book Club
The Women’s Centre runs a weekly market stall where we sell new and second-hand books, DVDs and CDS. This takes place at the Bee Park Farmers Market.
If you have any books, DVDs or CDs that you would like to donate, please call to the centre. If you could spare 15- 30 minutes to help our team run the stall please contact us on 071 985 6220 or email info@ northleitrimwomenscentre. ie.
