The North Leitrim Womens Centre is currently reviewing the services of the Well Woman Clinic and we want to hear from women who have used the service. The Well Women Health Clinic has been in operation in the North Leitrim Women Centre since May 2004 and offers a “Woman to Woman” friendly service. The Clinic is funded by the HSE West and delivered by a HSE West G.P. – Dr. Helen Fitsimons.
The Clinic is held on a bi-monthly basis where the following services are included:
Registered Smear Testing
Contraceptive Advice
Implanon Implant Insertion
Mirena Coil Insertion
BP checks
Breast exam
Mammography Referral
Continence Advice
General talks around pregnancy, fertility, HRT and the menopause
