The Well Women Health Clinic has been in operation in the North Leitrim Women Centre since May 2004 and offers a “Woman to Woman” friendly service. The Clinic is funded by the HSE West and delivered by a HSE West G.P. – Dr. Helen Fitsimons.
The Clinic is held on a bi-monthly basis where the following services are included:
- Registered Smear Testing
- Contraceptive Advice
- Implanon Implant Insertion
- Mirena Coil Insertion
- BP checks
- Breast exam
- Mammography Referral
- Continence Advice
- General talks around pregnancy, fertility, HRT and the menopause
